The Chronological history of Gigg Lane, the only home for Bury Football Club
Bury FC unveils it's first covered stand, built on the South Side of Gigg Kane in 1887, at a cost of £50 11s 8d. The stand was opened on 5 November, when a crowd of 2,000 witnessed a 4-1 win against Heywood in the Lancashire Junior Cup First Round.
